Cedar lumber is like our family
Keller Lumber Company is a fourth generation family-owned business that grew from a small saw mill in Roseburg, Oregon, in 1953 to a 100-employee operation that produces around 20 million board feet of quality cedar products per year (26 million high).
Cedar wood is one of the most reliable kinds of timber you can use around your home, as cedar trees develop self-protective properties that allow the wood to stand up tall against weather-related stress and morphing, moisture, insects, moss and rot.
It is a very stable lumber—one that has an appealing look, aroma and great stability for any kind of home development or building project.
Keller Lumber makes fencing products, balusters and specialty clear products, timbered from a variety of cedar woods from the popular Red Cedar, Incense Cedar, and occasionally Port Orford and Alaskan Yellow Cedars.
Our products are purchased for and by fencing companies and decking companies all over the United States.
Companies that go to a site and construct a fence for a prospective buyer. Decking companies that want to use cosmetic grade lumber.
We are in essence a retail lumber seller which sells in unit lots.
Throughout the decades, Keller Lumber has solidified its place in the timber industry as an established and prudent family-run company. It is one of Douglas County’s only cedar mills.
